About CreatorsCalc
Our mission is to make creator-economy tax and finance math clear and free. CreatorsCalc builds honest, source-cited calculators and reference guides for content creators, freelancers, and influencers, the people whose income arrives as self-employment earnings, sponsorship fees, and platform revenue rather than a salaried paycheck. We focus on clear inputs, documented formulas, and transparent sourcing, so you can run the numbers yourself and understand exactly where each figure comes from.
CreatorsCalc provides free, client-side calculators and planning tools built for content creators, influencers, and freelancers. Every calculation runs entirely in your browser, nothing you enter is stored, sent to our servers, or sold.
What We Build
We maintain a focused set of calculators plus the reference guides that explain the math behind them:
- Tax Calculator - estimate income and self-employment tax on creator earnings
- Quarterly Planner - plan estimated quarterly tax payments across the year
- Sponsor Rate Calculator - find a realistic starting rate for a brand deal by audience and niche
- Hourly Rate Calculator - set a freelance hourly rate that covers expenses, taxes, and target income
- Revenue Estimator - project earnings across creator monetization channels
Each calculator derives its numbers from official, published sources, tax-authority tables (IRS in the US, HMRC in the UK, CRA in Canada, ATO in Australia, and the German Einkommensteuer schedule), U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Employment & Wage Statistics for creator-occupation wages, and published creator-rate benchmarks (Influencer Marketing Hub, Captiv8) for sponsorship CPM. We document how every figure is calculated on our methodology page.
Privacy First
All calculations happen locally in your browser. We never see, store, or transmit any numbers you enter. Your financial inputs stay on your device.
Editorial Independence
CreatorsCalc does not accept payment, sponsorship, or promoted placement from any third party. Our only revenue source is contextual display advertising served by Google AdSense, advertisers do not influence which tools we build, how we present figures, or what our guides recommend. The official tax authorities, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the benchmark publishers we cite are independent external sources we reference; they are not affiliated with CreatorsCalc.
Disclaimer
CreatorsCalc is an independent project providing tools for informational and educational purposes only. We do not provide tax, legal, or financial advice. Results are estimates based on the inputs you provide and general assumptions. Tax law changes and individual circumstances vary, always consult a qualified tax professional before filing or making a financial decision. See our full disclaimer.
Our Approach
We built these tools because most creator finance advice is vague. A calculator that shows you actual numbers from your own inputs, and tells you where each rate comes from, is more useful than a blog post telling you to "negotiate more." Every assumption is documented, the math runs in your browser, and the sources are named so you can verify them yourself.
